Things around the web that caught my eye this week:

First, this post from NT Wright responding to the failed vote for women’s ordination as bishops in the Church of England.  Wright argues that there is a strong biblical case for women’s ordination which should be the main argument of advocates for women’s ordination, not claims about social “progress” or a need to “get with the times.”

Second, a beautifully written reflection on love by my friend Austin.

Third, this article about testing being done on a line of jet/rocket engines designed for the first generation of “space planes.”  The day in which space travel is part of normal life is getting closer, which is fascinating to think about.

Fourth, this awesome reflection on Advent from Rob Bell!
